Terms of service
Last updated 9 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the Now app on Android, iOS, watches, and of this website. They are short because the app is simple: it runs on your device, with your data, for free.
Using Now
You may install and use Now on devices you own or control, for personal use. You may not reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it to break the law or the rules of the store you got it from. Store terms (Apple's and Google's) also apply.
Your data
What you track is yours. Now stores it on your device and does not claim any rights to it. You are responsible for backing it up; the Export options in Settings exist for that. See the privacy policy for what does and does not leave your device.
Free, and provided as is
Now is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It is a tool for keeping a log, not medical, legal or financial advice. Reminders may not fire if your device restricts background activity or notifications, and we are not liable for anything you missed as a result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from Now is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is nothing.
Changes to the app and to these terms
Features may be added, changed or removed. If paid features are introduced later, they will come with their own terms and will not be switched on without your consent. If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page will move and the app will point you here.
Ending
You can stop using Now at any time by deleting it. We may stop distributing it, but nothing on your device is affected by that.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, and any dispute is subject to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.
